Coronavirus NI: Death toll remains 551 after no further deaths with virus - one person infected with COVID-19

No one died in the last 24 hours in NI with coronavirus, according to the Department of Health.

That means that the death toll remains at 551.

That can be divided into 23 people aged 40-59 years - 158 people aged 60-79 years - 368 people aged 80-years and older - One person in the 20-39 years bracket and another whose age is not known.

Meanwhile 328 people died in a hospital setting - 187 in a residential/care home setting - 21 people in the community and 15 people whose location was not recorded.

Meanhile one more person has tested positive for COVID-19 in NI in the last 24 hours.

That brings the number of people with the virus in Northern Ireland to 5,761.

Now there are NO

COVID-19 patients fighting for their lives in ICU.

But there are 19 people taking up beds in NI hospitals with the condition.

There are currently 23 COVID-19 cases in NI Care Homes - and 15 suspected COVID-19 cases.
