No excuse for missing flights at Aldergrove because delays at the airport are well known by now

Security at Belfast International Airport is unbelievable slow and is a management problem that needs urgent attention.

The gentleman in your article in the News Letter (‘Belfast International Airport chief humiliated as up to 70 passengers miss flights,’ March 12) who missed his flight, must have his head in the sand.

All advice since 9/11 is to be in airport at least two hours before departure.
