Letters: Time to end MLA pay

A parliament that does not sit is a glorified dole office for its manifestly uninventive political class.

MLAs find consensus in one area only: "When nothing is happening, we should be paid."

Here is a modest proposal. MLAs should only be paid when the Assembly is actually sitting.
