Incident 'made safe' in Manchester

Greater Manchester Police has confirmed an incident at a block of flats in Hulme near Manchester has been "made safe".

A bomb disposal unit had been dispatched to the area.

Greater Manchester Police closed roads during the incident.

"This has now been made safe." said Greater Manchester Police on Twitter.

"Apologies for any confusion."
