Roads have now been reopened around Coagh Street in Cookstown after an earlier security alert.
The alert ended around 8.30pm.
Earlier police attended the scene following the discovery of a suspicious object in the Coagh Street area.
At the time a number of cordons were put in place and the public were asked to avoid the area.
