A book of condolence will this morning be opened for former deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness.

The book will be opened at 10.30am.

The 66-year-old politician died early on Tuesday in a Londonderry hospital with his family by his side. He had been suffering from a rare heart condition. His funeral is to take place in Londonderry tomorrow.

Vigils were last night held in Londonderry, Belfast and Dublin for the republican figurehead.
