Appeal after pensioner purse snatch
Police in Bangor are appealing for information after a woman in her 70s had her purse snatched in the Castle Park area on Monday.
The incident happened around midday close to Abbey Park.
A PSNI spokesman said the suspect is “described as very tall, wearing a black hooded top with blue markings”.
He ran off in the direction of Abbey Park.
Constable David Greer said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident, or anyone who may have seen a man matching this description in the area or nearby, to contact police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 509 of 13/06/16.
