Man dies in Downpatrick house fire

Firefighters attended the scene of the blaze in Cathedral View in the town just before 6pm on Friday night but the man lost his life.
Margaret Ritchie, the South Down MLA said: “It is with a deep sense of sadness that I learnt of the tragic death of a man in Cathedral View in Downpatrick last evening as a result of a house fire.
