Man charged with explosives offence dating back seven years
Detectives from PSNI Serious Crime Branch revealed on Wednesday night that they had charged a 36-year-old man with possessing explosives with intent to endanger life, or cause serious injury to property.
He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 16.
It is believed that it relates to the discovery of a bomb on August 2009 in the Millbank Park area of north-west Belfast.
The area is a republican-dominated neighbourhood in the Ligoneil area.
